03 Aug 2017

Grupo Campestre plans to start building a new shopping center in the capital at the end of the year with nine commercial premises and 180 parking spaces.
Sergio Romero, CEO of Grupo Campestre, explained that the company is already working on the layout of the shopping center, which will be built on a plot of land on the old Huizúcar street between Los Próceres boulevard and Los Héroes avenue, in the capital.

Elmundo.sv reports that "...The construction of Mi Plaza, San Salvador, is expected to begin later this year and in early 2018, he said. In relation to this, the company estimates that its execution will take place in a period of one year and four months.  Meanwhile, until last June, Grupo Campestre managed to sell between 60 and 65% of the future store spaces in Mi Plaza."

Romero added: "..."We already have 60 to 65% of premises filled and we are in the final stage of the negotiation. Before starting to build we want to have up to 80%, with different brands, that will accompany us in this project'."
