El Salvador: 2015 Foreign Trade Figures

In 2015 exports exceeded $5.4 billion, an increase of 4% compared to 2014, with manufacturing and agribusiness sectors leading the growth.

The Ministry of Economy presented on Tuesday its Foreign Trade Report which comparatively analyzes the main business indicators of El Salvador in its interaction with the rest of the world. 

The results for foreign trade in 2015 were favorable for the Salvadoran economy. Exports of goods accumulated $5,484.9 million, an increase of $212.2 million (4%) compared to 2014, indicating a greater dynamism of exports of the country and positioning it as the Central American nation with the most dynamism in its export sector.
