Biography

Sarkis V. Seraydarian was appointed Honorary Consul of El Salvador in Lebanon in October 2012. He is a licensed lawyer from the Law Society of Upper Canada as a barrister, solicitor and notary public. After a brief law practice in Toronto, he joined in his capacity as partner Metachrome, a manufacturer and wholesale importer of sanitary ware in Lebanon. Simultaneously he taught law at La Sagesse University. Since 1996 Mr. Seraydarian is at the helm of Seray Construction, a well-established development company in Lebanon.

Mr. Seraydarian served on several civic boards and is a member of several associations including the Law Society of Upper Canada in Ontario, Vice-president of the Tekeyan Cultural Association, the Lebanese Armenian Jurists’ Association, the Economic Council of the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate, the Higher Council of the Armenian Catholic Community, founding member of Humanitas, and a board member of Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership – Lebanon chapter (LARP).

Mr. Seraydarian speaks and/or writes eight languages. He has a Masters in Business Administration from ESA-ESCP-EAP. He received his law degree from the University of Ottawa and his BA in Political Science from York University, Ontario.

Mr. Seraydarian is married to Dr. Grace Younes. They have two sons and live in Lebanon.
